"Think Before You Act" Program

The “SMART THINK” program is specifically developed around the concept of “Think Before You Act.”

Thinking before acting means transforming instinct into prevention. In a strong safety culture, every second of reflection can prevent potentially dramatic consequences. It’s the first reflex that saves lives—for oneself, for others, and for the company.

Key steps of a SMART-Safety journey

A typical initial step in a standard journey, the safety culture diagnostic allows for targeting real priorities, involving teams, and building a tailored, effective, concrete, and sustainable prevention program. It naturally leads to Step 2, which consists of aligning priorities with the company’s Top Management. However, the program’s progress will be monitored by the Steering Committee that we set up in Step 3.

The next step launches the program’s rollout to the teams. Every journey is different but usually includes adapted training and the deployment of practical tools to support employees in the field. The final step consists of creating autonomy, but we remain available to measure progress and provide the necessary follow-up.

Thinking before acting makes safety a reflex, not a constraint.

This Fullmark awareness campaign reminds us that every action counts and that prevention begins with a second of reflection. By placing people at the heart of work situations, it encourages awareness of risks, anticipation of errors, and the adoption of good daily behaviors.

This campaign includes 12 key, impactful, and concrete themes to strengthen safety culture and act before an accident occurs.
